Powering the device is a magnetic system for attachment to clothing, relying on a detachable battery. This is part of Humane's "perpetual power system," allowing battery replacement as needed, though the duration of each battery is not specified.
A standout feature is the Laser Ink Display, a laser projector that casts information onto the user's hand, creating an interactive display in the absence of a standard screen. This feature is navigated through hand movements and finger taps. The Humane Ai Pin is priced at $699, and its functionality hinges on a $24 monthly subscription, necessary for accessing the Humane network powered by T-Mobile.
