“Nothing to See Here” Is Now Live!
As part of my ART 397: Special Topics in Art and Design class, students were challenged to design site-specific augmented reality (AR) experiences using Adobe Aero—transforming familiar spaces on campus into interactive digital environments. The project also asked students to rethink the use of traditional tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects—repurposing them to create layered content specifically staged for augmented reality.
From static illusions to immersive animations with sound, each piece explores how AR can reshape our relationship to place, presence, and design.
If you’re on the Dubai campus, visit the atrium to scan any of the QR codes on the pedestals to begin exploring—and keep an eye out for hidden AR experiences tucked throughout the building.
