The RUNWAY ML AI Film Festival (AIFF) is an annual event that celebrates the creative use of AI in filmmaking.
Established in 2022, the festival showcases works from artists who are pushing the boundaries of storytelling by incorporating AI techniques into their films.

Runway is looking for films (narrative or experimental) that embrace various emerging AI tools as a core component of the filmmaking process.

Film submission criteria includes:

1. 1-10 minutes in length.
2. Includes AI-powered tooling in the creation process. This includes but is not limited to generative AI.
3. Submitted using a Runway link.

Grand Prix $15,000 Cash prize + 1,000,000 Runway credits
Gold $10,000 Cash prize + 500,000 Runway credits
Silver $5,000 Cash prize + 500,000 Runway credits
Honoree (x2) $1,000 Cash prize + 100,000 Runway credits
Merit (x5) $500 Cash prize + 100,000 Runway credits
