Adobe has recently introduced its Firefly Video Model, an AI-powered tool that enables users to generate short video clips from text or image prompts. This innovation simplifies the video creation process, allowing users to bring their ideas to life with minimal effort. The model can generate five-second, 1080p video clips, providing control over camera angles, movement, and visual effects. This means that creators can quickly produce unique footage without the need for expensive equipment or advanced editing skills.
To explore this new tool, I created a series of AI-generated images using Midjourney and brought them to life using Adobe’s Firefly Video Model. The resulting clips were then refined and edited in Premiere Pro. The video at the top of this post showcases what’s possible when combining generative AI tools in a creative workflow.

I tested the Standard plan and quickly realized its limitations—I generated 23 videos for my project, which exhausted all my available credits for the month. This highlights an important factor for creators: if you plan to generate multiple iterations or refine your work extensively, you may need to upgrade to a higher-tier plan or wait for credits to reset each month.
